As the police continue their investigation into the murder of 21-year-old businessman, Amit Singh, the force says that an extension has been granted by the court to hold the alleged mastermind in custody beyond 72 hours.
This was confirmed by Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum, who in an interview yesterday noted that an application was made to the court for an extension and it was granted.
Blanhum also noted that a post-mortem examination will be conducted next week.
