Sprinters, Emanuel Archibald and Jasmine Abrams came in for high praise for their 100m performances at the on-going Pan Am Games from acting President of Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG), Amanda Hermonstine
Abrams stormed to a silver medal in the women’s final, while Archibald earned bronze in the men’s equivalent on Tuesday evening in Santiago, Chile.
Hermonstine, on behalf of the track and field fraternity, was happy to boast of her discipline’s ability to shine at global and regional events.
