Twenty-one members of Guyana’s Joint Service recently completed a 5-day weapon and ammunition management training at the Officers Training Centre, Georgetown. The participants’ included fifteen ranks from the Guyana Police Force [GPF] and six from the Guyana Defence Force [GDF]. A press release from the GPF stated that the course was sponsored by the British Foreign and Commonwealth office, CARICOM IMPACS and Mines Advisory Groups. The programme was funded by the UK Government and delivered by MAG CARICOM from 6th-10th November 2023.
