The suspect in the chopping last month at Granny Landing, Omai Backdam, Siparuni, Region Eight, that resulted in the death of a miner, Perry Budhram, is yet to be arrested, says Regional Commander Senior Superintendent Khalid Mandal.
However, Mandal yesterday informed that a wanted bulletin is expected to be issued for the suspect soon.
Budhram, of Vreed-en-Hoop, West Coast Demerara, was chopped on his arms allegedly after making remarks about another miner’s mother and died following the incident.
