Miss Coverden Joel Perry won the Miss East Bank pageant, besting 11 other young women, who represented their villages with pride.
Purposeful and driven were the words Perry used to describe herself as she told this publication that her success was not without its challenges and one that took sacrifice and long nights. Nevertheless, she said, “I have learned a lot about myself. There were some late nights and long rehearsals all of which I am thankful for.”
Perry said that it was an honour to have represented her community.
