Man remanded over knife-point robbery on King St

Twenty-four-year-old Godfrey Cox of Lot 19 Princes Street, Charlestown, appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with robbery under arms.

It is alleged that on November 24, while at King Street, Georgetown, and armed with a knife, he robbed Maleki Clarke of one Samsung Galaxy A71 valued $56,000 and one pair of Samsung earphones valued $2,000 for a total value of $58,000.

Cox pleaded not guilty to the charge.
