The police yesterday said that a man who was wanted for armed robberies was held on Cemetery Road with an illegal gun.
Ranks from the Police Impact Base (Brickdam) were performing patrol duties on Hadfield Street, Georgetown, on Monday when they observed two men on a black motorcycle without a number plate proceeding west, a statement from the police said. On seeing the Police, the men attempted to evade them.
