Stabroek Ballers, Sparta Boss, Family, and Five O advanced to the elimination round when the ‘East Bank versus the Rest’ street-ball championship resumed on Saturday evening at the Mocha Arcadia tarmac.
The Stabroek Ballers downed the Back Street Warriors 2-0 in their opening match. Jamal Cozier bagged a double in the fourth and 18th minutes. In their second match of the evening, Stabroek Ballers edged Back Circle 1-0. Darren Benjamin found the back of the net in the seventh minute.
On the other hand, Sparta Boss humbled Unruly 2-0. Jermaine Junior etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the fourth and eighth minutes.
