Two on trial for murder of Rose Hall Town grocer

Two men are currently on trial for the murder of Rose Hall Town grocer, Lomenzo Johnny who in February 2020 was found with his feet tied together along with what appeared to be strangulation marks on his neck and a puncture wound above his left eye.

Satram Kushlay and Bilall McLennon were charged jointly with murder committed on Johnny also known as ‘Sham’, on February 27, 2020.

The men are on trial before Justice Sandil Kissoon at the High Court in Berbice. The state’s case is being presented by Attorney at Law, Muntaz Ali.
