Winners Connection, Milerock, Topp XX, and Silver Shattas sealed quarterfinal berths when the maiden edition of the Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA) futsal championship continued on Friday evening at the Retrieve Tarmac, Linden.
Winners Connection dismantled Hi-Stars 5-0. Malachi Todd recorded a hat-trick, while Akeem Caesar and Nicholas Gentle found the back of the net once, respectively.
On the other hand, Milerock bested Amelia’s Ward 4-2. Marcus Tudor tallied a brace, with Jonah Simon and Colwyn Drakes netting one goal apiece. For the losers, Demoll Warner and Keyshawn Dey netted one goal each.
