Following his remarkable exploits at the recently concluded 61st edition of the National Schools Cycling, Swimming, and Track and Field Championships, national U-8 dual champion Jadon Bristol was honoured by the community of Nabaclis, East Coast Demerara, on Sunday, December 17th.
Nephew of former Commonwealth Boxing Champion Kenny Bristol, the Golden Grove Primary standout etched his name in the local annals as he was crowned the U-8 150M and 400M champions, respectively, defeating fellow emerging talents Akaziah Semple and Kester DeSouza. Bristol also secured silver medals in the boy’s U-8 80m sprint and long jump.
