A former policeman, John Moore, 23, of Second Front, East La Penitence, Georgetown, yesterday appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman, at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court and was remanded over possession of a rifle, pistol and ammunition.
It was alleged that on December 30, 2023, Moore was at the East La Penitence squatting area where he had in his possession one Glock 40 pistol and one AR-15 rifle. He also had in his possession 19 live rounds of 233 ammunition and one 233 spent shell without being the holder of a licence.
Moore pleaded not guilty to the charges.
