Rollot Roweley, 33, of Lot 258 West Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, Georgetown, appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday where he was charged with uttering a forged instrument.
It is alleged that on November 1, 2022, at Camp Street, Georgetown, with the intent to defraud, Roweley uttered to Lennox Hopkinson an employee at Republic Bank Limited, a forged Republic Bank cheque, numbered 000000033 and valued $800,000 knowing that it was forged.
