Colts, Eagles take game one in ‘One Guyana’ Basketball Playoffs

Colts and Eagles secured a 1-0 lead in their best of three playoff series against Kobras and the University of Guyana (UG) Trojans, respectively, when the inaugural edition of the ‘One Guyana’ Basketball Premier League resumed on Saturday evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.

Colts beat the Kobras by a 66-51 score-line. The quintet of Shane Webster, Shelroy Thomas,

Carmelo Mon-Sing, Domitri Rankin, and Quacey Lindo scored 10, nine, eight, seven, and six points, respectively. On the other side, Elijah David recorded a game-high 17 points, while Drexel Aaron and Trevor Smith supported him with 10 and nine points, respectively.
