Seventh-day Adventists across Guyana can now benefit from access to quality financial services, as the Guyana Conference of Seventh Day Adventists has been officially registered as a Co-operative Credit Union.

It is the first Co-operative Credit Union to be registered in the past few years, a release yesterday from the Ministry of Labour said.

Co-operative Credit Unions, which are registered under the Co-operative Societies Act, Chapter 88:01 of the Laws of Guyana, are co-operative societies which enable and assist their members in saving and borrowing money at reasonable rates.
