Three people, including a teenage girl, were arrested following drug busts by the police.
In one instance ranks from the Grove Police Station, East Bank Demerara, conducted an operation at the home of 42-year-old Lukinovich Theobald called ‘Redman’, at Friendship Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara yesterday at around 12:00 hrs.
A release from the police said they told the suspect that they were in receipt of information that he had illegal items in his possession, and as such, they would like to carry out a search of his person and premises. A search was then carried out but nothing of evidential value was found.
