International cricket’s breakout star, West Indies pacer Shamar Joseph, was given a hero’s welcome following his return to local shores yesterday from the Test tour of Australia at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Timehri.
Joseph rose to international stardom following his 7/68 second-inning haul, which propelled the West Indies to victory in the second test, in the process securing the Caribbean outfit’s first triumph in 27 years ‘down under’.
