Corentyne man remanded for fatally chopping Alness labourers

A Corentyne man was yesterday remanded to prison after he was charged with the brutal murders of the two men he brutally and fatally chopped late Friday evening.

Devon Stanley yesterday appeared at the Mibicuri Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Peter Hugh where he was read the indictable charge of murder.

Stanley also known as ‘Sawo’, 32, a cane harvester of Lot 64 Ulverston Village, Corentyne, was charged that between Friday, February, 2, and Saturday, February, 3 at Alness Village, Corentyne, he murdered Floyd Moore also known as Kinga and Quacy LaRose.
