Albion man found guilty of felonious wounding

An Albion Front, Corentyne man will return to the High Court in March for sentencing after he was found guilty of felonious wounding following a chopping incident in August 2021.

Joshua Preme, a carpenter, from Albion Front, Corentyne, was on trial before Justice Jo-Ann Barlow at the High Court in Berbice where he was found guilty yesterday by a margin of 11-1 for felonious wounding.  The facts of the matter are that the accused and the victim, Jagdeo Ganesh, are from the same village Albion Front, Corentyne. They lived one street away from each other.
