Fire guts home at Suddie

A fire of unknown origin, which struck about 2 am yesterday, destroyed a house in Suddie, Region Two, which was owned by Jason Narine.

Despite the efforts of the Anna Regina Fire Service, the entire upper floor of the two-storey home was destroyed.

Narine who was in Georgetown at the time said he received a call from a neighbour about the fire. Narine said that the upper flat had chairs, tables, beds and a kitchen. He said he usually spent time at his home when he was in Region Two.
