Capoey Lake miner, Carl Welcome was yesterday committed to stand trial for the murder in 2018 of Shervin Melville.
The committal was made by Magistrate Esther Sam at the Anna Regina court.
Welcome was charged on November 27, 2023 with the offence. The accused appeared at the court virtually from prison.
