Andrew Marks, a 27-year-old vendor of Jackson Street, Tucville, was arrested on Friday last and charged yesterday with possession of a firearm without licence and possession of ammunition without a licence.
In a statement, the police said that Marks appeared at the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court #1 before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce where the two charges were read to him, and he pleaded not guilty. He was remanded to prison, and the matter was adjourned to 25th March 2024.
