On March 25th, the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) will embark on its ‘National Academy and Learn to Box’ programme, which will be staged at the Andrew ‘Six Head’ Lewis gym in Albouystown and serve as the starting point for other jurisdictions.
This was disclosed in a release from the GBA. According to the correspondence, the programme, which will last for 12 days, will be held within different jurisdictions and comprise several national coaches and technical officers.
Registration for the project, which will also encompass a refereeing and judging aspect, will occur on Thursday, March 7th, while an official timetable for the staging in other areas will also be disclosed shortly.
