A day full of showdowns and fierce rivalry in the martial arts arena is expected on March 31 when Korean International Martial Arts Guyana (KIMAG) is slated to kick off the sixth edition of their South America Undiscovered – Martial Arts Championship at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue, Georgetown.
Over 150 martial artists from the twin-island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname and host nation Guyana will descend on the venue to compete in the categories of Individual Katas, Individual Sparring, Team Katas, Team Sparring and Freestyles.
Martial artists will compete in age categories 6-8, 9-12, up to 35 and in the open category.
