Medical outreach:

The U.S. Embassy partnered last week with Humanity First Guyana for a three-day medical outreach. In brief remarks, US Ambassador Nicole Theriot applauded the collaboration with the Humanity First team, Ministry of Health, and other partner organizations and said, “Let this medical outreach be a reminder of our shared humanity, our interconnectedness, and our ability to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.” According to a release from the US Embassy, the outreach provided doctor consultations, free medicine, dental services, optometry, counseling, and HIV testing to more than 700 persons.
