The New Amsterdam Multilateral School hosted a basketball game yesterday in memory of Justin Totaram, a Grade 8 student who recently passed away following an accident.
According to the school, Totaram was an important part of the school’s under-16 basketball team and had a great passion for the sport.
The game was played by two teams made up of players from the school’s basketball team. The game was played in 7-minute quarters under the watchful eyes of referee Rayel Franklin.
