Back Circle, Unstoppable, and Lodge All-Stars advanced to the quarterfinal segment in the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Georgetown Championship, following group stage victories on Sunday at the National Park tarmac in Thomas Lands.
In a clash of heavyweights, Back Circle dismantled Albouystown 3-0 to seal their place in the final eight, in the process eliminating the latter from the competition.
On the other hand, the upstart outfit, Lodge All-Stars, defeated the gritty Sophia B unit 1-0. Meanwhile, Unstoppable maintained their undefeated record with a 3-2 victory over Middle Road.
