Guyana departs today for Carifta Games in Grenada

Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sport Charles Ramson Jr., Director of Sports Steve Ninvalle, and Vice-Chair of the NSC Cristy Campbell met with the Carifta Team yesterday before their departure for Grenada today.

Guyana’s athletic squad will depart local shores today to compete in the annual Carifta Games Championship, which is slated for March 30th – April 1st at the Kirani James Stadium in Grenada.

Notable athletes such as Tianna Springer, Javon Roberts, Nerissa McPherson, Attoya Harvey, and Malachi Austin will lead the 23-member roster, which also comprises Sahel Cornett, Charisa December, Nalicia Glen, Rondell Green, Jamal Sullivan, Robert Marcus, Dhanielson Gill, Athaleyha Hinckson, Duel Europe, Skylar Charles, Kaidon Persaud, Ezekiel Millington, Easter McKinnon, Ryan Joseph, Akilla Blucher, Keneta Fraser, Marissa Thomas, and Nathaniel Samaroo.
