Two children are in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Georgetown Public Hospital following an accident on Monday around 7.30 pm on the Grass Field, Enmore Access Road.
According to relatives, a 16-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy are on life support in the ICU.
Reports state that the accident involved motor car, PAE 3091, driven by a 20-year-old businessman of Enmore Hope East on the East Coast Demerara, an electric cycle, and a 16-year-old girl along with two other male juveniles, all of Grass Field Enmore.
