The first batch of families awarded house lots in Le Ressouvenir Housing Development, East Coast Demerara were able to identify them on Wednesday in the presence of Minister of Housing and Water Collin Croal.
According to a release from the Central Housing & Planning Authority (CH&PA), the families, who are predominantly middle and moderate-income allottees, received their allocations in December 2022. Following the allocations, the Housing Ministry undertook infrastructure works in the area, including land clearing, and the construction of roads, culverts and drainage networks.
