Cops urge caution as lorries stuck on highway

The two lorries on the highway

The Guyana Police Force last evening cautioned motorists using the Soesdyke-Linden Highway to be careful as there were two motor lorries that were immovable due to ‘cut out’ springs.

A release from the force said that lorries were stuck at Kairouni and Loo Creek along the Soesdyke-Linden Highway and that there was no immediate sign of mechanical repairs.

“As such, road users are advised to proceed with caution,” the notice from the police said, adding that lawmen had placed traffic cones to identify the area and support road users.
