On its third day in Matarkai, Region One (Barima-Waini), a team from the Ministry of Labour on Wednesday conducted inspections and awareness sessions at various mining sites, primarily focusing on the gold mining sector.
The ongoing initiative is being done in conjunction with the Guyana Geo-logy and Mines Commission (GGMC) and the Guyana Mining School and Training Centre Inc. (GMSTCI), a release yesterday from the Ministry of Labour said.
