The University of Guyana (UG)’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology has received its first international accreditation for the Associate of Science in Petroleum Engineering and the Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the London-based International Energy Institute.

According to a press statement issued by the university, the accreditation comes after a successful accreditation evaluation visit by a five-man team hosted by UG in February of this year. During this visit, a positive verbal report was given by the team and a formal notification was recently received by the University.
