Chase Academy was crowned the Milo Secondary Schools football champion for a record-extending fourth time as they defeated Waramuri of Region #1 by a 3-1 score in the final yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

Bryan Wharton, the competition’s eventual Most Valuable Player (MVP), bagged a double in the 18th and 60th minutes, while Omar Sam, who copped the Golden Boot title with 13 conversions, was true to form as he netted in the 29th minute. For the loser, Chetram Thomas netted in the 70th minute.
