Test cricket to return to Guyana after 13 years, South Africa to face WI at Providence

-CWI announces West Indies 2024 schedule

Cricket West Indies (CWI) announced a packed 2024 schedule for the West Indies Men yesterday, which will feature three international home tours against South Africa, England and Bangladesh, from May to December of this year.

In the press release, it was revealed that the visiting South African side will play a test match in Guyana at the Providence National Stadium, East Bank Demerara, marking the first time in 13 years that test cricket will be played on Guyanese soil.

The test match, the second of two tests, is slated for August 15-19 with the first slated for Trinidad and Tobago from August 7-11.
