ANSA McAL warns over Bajan crime

(Barbados Nation) Don’t allow the crime situation to get out of hand!

This warning yesterday came from a top spokesman for the Trinidadian-based ANSA McAL group, which has significant business interests in Barbados.

New president and chief executive officer of ANSA McAL Barbados, Trinidadian Nicholas Mouttet, believes a plan must be put in place to reintegrate criminal deportees into society if Barbados wants to meaningfully tackle crime.

Mouttet, who took over leadership of the conglomerate following the departure of David Inglefield, said while there were peculiarities about deportees, they required rehabilitation just like local criminals.
