Caribbean Airlines has cancelled two of its flights which were scheduled to depart Trinidad for Guyana and Guyana for Trinidad respectively, this evening, as a result of the unrest on the lower East Bank Demerara.

According to a media release from Caribbean Airlines, “civil unrest” in Guyana has forced the cancellation of flight BW 483, which was to have left Trinidad at 8.35 pm. As a result BW 484, which was to have left Guyana for Trinidad is also cancelled.

The release said that passengers affected by these flights will now be accommodated on flights BW 525 and BW 524 tomorrow.
