About 1000h. today, the police say that Sean Harper, 46 years, of Cummings Lodge, ECD, was about to exit his motor vehicle at Alexander Street, Kitty, when he was attacked by a man armed with a handgun.
The man smashed the window of the vehicle and grabbed a bag containing $1.8M and then discharged rounds at Harper before escaping in a car driven by an accomplice.
Harper suffered injuries to his right foot and abdomen and has been admitted to hospital.
Investigations are in progress.
