Six gunmen raided the Guyana Stockfeeds office at Farm, East Bank Demerara this afternoon after pretending to be customers.
The well-dressed men held the staff at gunpoint then calmly walked to a waiting car with a duffle bag filled with an undisclosed sum of cash and jewellery.
Officials at the company declined to comment when approached by the media.
The armed robbery occurred just before 13:00 hours and the police response has been severely criticised.
