The police say that investigations are being conducted into the murder of Peter James, 65 years, of Matthews Ridge, NWD, which occurred about 0130h. today at Matthews Ridge.
Investigations have revealed that James became involved in an argument with another man in a liquor bar during which he was stabbed about his body.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Matthews Ridge Hospital.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
