School of the Nations’ Saskia Twahir tops NGSA

School of the Nations’ Saskia Twahir has emerged the top student in the 2017 Grade 6 examination , landing her a place at Queen’s College.

The 12-year-old secured 524 out of a possible 529 marks.

Elated, she thanked her parents and the Almighty for her success, which she also attributed to hard work and dedication over a number of years.

“I feel great, I’ve been working towards this for six years,” Twahir told media operatives.

Also placing in the top 10 are: Clifton Bacchus of Mae’s Under 12 (523), Gabriella Roberts of Success Elementary (523 marks), Xiana Chabila of Graham’s Hall Primary (523), Amelia Sugrim of Academy of Excellence (523), Antonia Dey also of Academy of Excellence (523), Brandon Gouveia of Academy of Excellence (522), Emily Lalchand of Academy of Excellence (522), Raj Seeram of Swami Purnananda Pri (522), Tristan Persaud of Academy of Excellence (522), Jerod Roberts of Marian Academy (522), Tristan Richards of Dharmic Rama Krishna (522), Muhammad Bacchus of ISA Islamic (522), Tia Chung of Success Elementary (522) and Kripa Thani of Mae’s Under 12 (522).
