Two men ambushed, shot dead in T&T

(Trinidad Express) TWO MEN were shot dead in Marcano Quarry, Beverly Hills, yesterday, but even with scores of heavily-armed police and soldiers on the scene, a single shot rang out close to where the murder occurred, ­resulting in police, soldiers and ­media taking cover.

Police said around 2.45 p.m., resi­dents of condemned Housing Development Corporation apartments heard several gunshots.
Upon investigating, they found the bodies of 19-year-old Tyrique Roberts and Hakim Andrews, 21.
Police said sometime before, the two men were walking along the main road leading to Beverly Hills, when they were ambushed and shot at by two men.
