Trinidad: Two children survive three car smash up

(Trinidad Express) A fireman passing by minutes after a three car collision assisted two children found in the wreckage of one of the vehicles in Princes Town on Monday night.

The two children, aged six and ten years old, survived with minor injuries.

The right side of the Nissan 120 Y in which they were passengers was ripped away.

Their father, the driver of the vehicle, was also taken to hospital.

The collision occurred around 8.15 pm at M1 Ring Road.

The other vehicles involved were a Toyota Voxy seven-seater and a Nissan B-13 Sentra.

A firefighter passing along the road minutes after the crash contacted authorities.

Princes Town police and fire officers responded.
