(Barbados Nation) Angry parents yesterday descended on the Graydon Sealy Secondary School, demanding the immediate withdrawal of 265 suspension letters issued by principal Matthew Farley for alleged uniform infringements.

(Trinidad Express) After  years of abuse at the hands of her alcoholic lover, whom she stabbed to death during one of her usual alcohol-induced beatings, mother of six Angela Clarke was yesterday ordered to serve a maximum of two years and seven months in prison.

Bajan held with over US$10,000

At about 1615h. today police ranks on duty at the CJIA conducted a search on a Barbadian national who had arrived on a flight and found that he had in his possession more than $10,000US and which he had failed to declare.
