The body of an unidentified man was discovered at Madewini on the Linden/ Soesdyke Highway yesterday and police suspect that he is a hit and run victim.

Police said in a press release yesterday that they are investigating the death of the man whose body was found around 9 am with injuries to his back and legs.

The deceased, the release added, is of East Indian descent, about 40 years of age, dark complexioned, thin built, about 5’ 8” in height and was clad in dark blue underwear. The body is at the Lyken’s Funeral Home.

Anyone who has information that may lead to the identification of the deceased is asked to contact the police.
