Legal Aid

Legal aid:

Through the collaborative efforts of the British High Commission and the Commonwealth, the University of Guyana’s legislative drafting course has benefited from some much needed material. On Monday, 18 computers costing approximately 9000 pounds and 20 copies of the latest edition of the legislative drafting text were handed over to the learning institution. Nine students pursuing the second post-graduate certificate in the 12-week course will be the first to benefit and at the end will be presented with a personal copy of the book. In this photo, British High Commissioner Fraser Wheeler and two students prepare to test the new computers in the computer laboratory at the National Centre for Education Resource Development (NCERD).
