Participants at a Guyana Institute of Historical Research (GIHR) forum yesterday on eradicating poverty in the African-Guyanese community. The forum, which was held at the Conference Room of the National Library dealt with such topics as poverty, housing, literacy, private education, women, business and the role of men.
