Youman Nabi should inspire cooperation -IAC

The Indian Arrival Committee (IAC) says the lesson of Youman Nabi should inspire citizens to cooperate for the good of the nation.

In a press release, it said the festival is celebrated in the Muslim world though acts of kindness and charity to the needy in commemoration of the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohamed. The festival also reminds mankind about the importance of principles such as faith, repentance, honesty, simplicity, equality and concern for the dispossessed and the poor.

Therefore, the IAC said it is pleased to join with Muslims to observe this auspicious day, “and urge that special prayers be offered for peace, so that our country can move forward with prosperity.”
