Two men, boy on bail over ganja

Two men along with a 15-year-old boy who were allegedly found with a quantity of cannabis in their possession were all granted bail in the sum of $25,000 each when they appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

Seon Cooke and Kevin Fields, both of Hadfield Street, and the teen all pleaded not guilty to the charge of possession of narcotics.

They denied that they were found with 5 grammes of cannabis in their possession on June 4.
The prosecution made no objections to the bail applications when the men and the teen suggested it.

The magistrate subsequently granted each of them $25,000 bail and ordered that the men and the teen return to court on October 22.
