A 53-year-old man who is alleged to have indecently assaulted a 16-year-old girl was yesterday remanded to prison by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson when he appeared before her at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

It is alleged that between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2008 at Georgetown, Robert Wilburg of 25 Fifth Street, La Penitence indecently assaulted a 16-year-old girl.
The unemployed Wilburg was not required to plead to the indictable charge when it was read to him by the Acting Chief Magistrate.
The matter was called to the bench and a lengthy discussion ensued.
Wilburg was subsequently remanded to prison.
Why is an indecent assault charge took so long to be brought against this man??? When was this report made??? What foolishness is this???
For me, never mind the time it took to prosecute this guy. If found guilty, I hope he gets at least 10 years. What these guys are doing to our young women, is horrible and destructive. Why don’t they look for their own age group?
